2 more varicose veins "superglue" procedures today

Today, Professor Mark Whiteley performed 2 more Venaseal "Superglue" procedures on one patient for bilateral Varicose Veins at The Whiteley Clinic.

One the worse leg, only 2 injections of local anaesthetic were needed to put the glue catheter inot the 2 veins to be treated - and 5 other tiny injections for bulging veins to be removed (mini-phlebectomy).

No stitches were used as all wound are so tiny, they heal with simple plasters alone.

The patient was up and walking straight after the treatment - a far cry from the old days of a General Anaesthetic and a hospital bed!!!
