Charing Cross Symposium Cx35 - April 2013 - Whiteley Clinic involvement

This year's Charing Cross Symposium has just finished - bigger and better than ever before.
 
With cutting edge scientce and technology in both arteries and veins, the meeting has become and international brand for excellence in vascular surgery.

This year The Whiteley Clinic was very well represented with:
 
Prof Mark Whiteley - giving a talk on pelvic vein incompetence in the plenary session and a talk about the Histology of Clarivein in a satellite symposium.
 
Prof Mark Whiteley, Mr Barrie Price, Ms Judy Holdstock and Mrs Charmaine Harrison were all part of the Charing Cross Office Based Veins Course -
  • Prof Mark Whiteley teaching Venaseal glue
  • Mr Barrie Price teaching Varilase 810 nm endovenous laser (EVLA)
  • Ms Judy Holdstock and Mrs Charmaine Harrison teaching pelvic vein duplex ultrasound to diagnose pelvic vein reflux.
Dr Tony Lopez of the Imaging Clinic was also part of the group, teaching how performs embolisation of Pelvic Veins diagnosed at The Whiteley Clinic.
