Mark explains in the article which are the best ways to treat the veins - but points out a Doppler examination or Duplex examination is essential before any vein treatment is carried out.

The article explains why cosmetic and beauty clinics tend to treat thread veins and varicose veins incorrectly - by only treating the veins they can see. By treating these and ignoring the deeper veins that cause the veins on the surface, the risks of the veins coming back again - or causing skin blemishes - is higher.
